Care & Share Food Bank

People say United States is a land of opportunity and people are very generous, because they themselves came from a migrant community.

We experience their generosity through the institution “Care & Share Food Bank”. It’s a “warehouse” kind of place where groceries stores, bakeries and general public donate food items that no longer can be sold in the stores. Because our ministry is registered as a non-profit who will distribute the donations to needy people like us, YWAMer, we qualify for it and could go to the food bank regularly to get items.

I would say 50% of my groceries come from there. We often get potatoes, carrots, onions, breads and some canned goods. Recently we were just allowed to get dairy products and eggs!

Thank you, Care & Share!

Recently, we also decided to open our premise out to friends that we know that are in need and would benefit from some of the food items that we get.
