Tis the season to be hosting

We have been in our new home for 1 week. 11 more weeks to go. Gasp!Anyway, I’ve decided not to worry about the housing situation, until the day it snow. This will help me not to worry all day, everyday, but when the day when it snow, I will think/worry about it. I suppose we are getting a snowy day at least once in the next 11 weeks.

But anyway, back to the title. In the last 1 week, we have already hosted 3 times in the home. One for the boys’ movie night – we ordered pizza and I made sambal seafood (squid & prawn) and chocolate sheet cake. One for my FCM classmate – made chicken kabobs, nectarine salsa and apple crumble. I also made Mango Sticky Rice for the Merdeka party. Tomorrow, we are having a Ironmen movie marathon in our home, which I made Barbacoa, Cabbage-Carrot Slaw and Espresso Cheesecake Brownies. Right now, we have a FCM student stay with us for 2 weeks before she heads back to Switzerland. Of coz, I had to make dinner for 3 everyday.

Can you imagine or smell the aromas that is lingering in the house right now? The best part is, we can’t open the window, coz the homeowners are allergic to the dust that will come in. I don’t know which is worse, dust or food smells.. I guess as long as the smell is heavenly, it should be fine…
