1st Thanksgiving Dinner 2012

Our Thanksgiving spread!

So our Thanksgiving dinner went extremely well! Everything that I had planned for went smoothly. The food turned out great! The time taken to prepare them was right on time.

We had Roast Turkey with Rosemary and Lemon, Mushroom and Walnut Stuffing, Stewed Green Beans with Bacon, Mashed Potato, Pumpkin Doughnut Muffins. It was so delish!

Even though the preparation time was about 5 hours, but I really enjoyed the process so much. It was like co-cooking with the Holy Spirit. Really, without the Holy Spirit, my food will surely turn out bad.

We also had a great time with our korean friends that are doing DTS here. We know how terrible it will be to spend a holiday alone at the base…

Now that I know I have the ability to prepare a good feast, my hope is to be able to invite more people over (hopefully more internationals) for celebrations.
