Reflecting after the Colorado Springs Fire…
Before we came back to Colorado Springs, it was difficult to “justify” ourselves to be part of a ministry in Colorado Springs because, not only is COS so beautiful, America is a Christian county, why do we still need to evangelize to them or be a missionary there. Furthermore, Colorado Springs is a Christian hub where many Christian headquarters reside.
I have no answer.. And though America is a Christian nation, but many are just nominal Christian.
And I’m sure God is needed everywhere. Especially in such a time like this. Natural disasters and catastrophes doesn’t only choose to hit the poor countries. It’s unpredictable. I’m glad we are here in COS in such a time like this, that we can be part of this history and rebuilding process, and bring the hope of Christ to the people who have lost their homes.
